Built so nobody can watch you without your say
Abhyra shares your most sensitive data: location, live audio, live video. Every part of it follows one rule: nobody sees any of it until you and they have both agreed.
Trust has to go both ways
A contact isn't just "added". They install Abhyra and accept your invitation before anything is shared. The server checks this again whenever an emergency starts or your data is opened.
Only accepted contacts
Pending or declined invitations are never alerted. If nobody has accepted, the server refuses the SOS and the app asks you to add someone.
Location for this emergency only
Contacts get access to your live location for the emergency they were alerted to, and nothing else.
Streams stay private
Live audio and video are shared only with the emergency contacts who accept your invitation and are alerted during that emergency. Their access automatically expires when the emergency ends.
Encrypted connections, easy sign-in
The app talks to our servers only over encrypted connections. You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code, and you stay signed in for up to 30 days without using the app, so there's no logging in again day to day.
Kept on your phone, deleted when you say
Emergency recordings are stored only on your device. You can delete them, remove emergencies from your history, or delete your account from your profile at any time.
A biometric lock protects your emergency contacts and history, preventing unauthorized access if someone picks up your phone.
Only what's needed to keep you safe
Microphone, cameras and location are what your contacts see and hear during an emergency. Contacts access lets you pick people from your phone's contacts. Do Not Disturb access lets the siren ring for you when someone you protect needs help.
Users under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent, and the server enforces it as well as the app.
