Common questions
Do I need to pay for anything?
No. Every safety feature is free. Ads appear outside the emergency screens, never during an SOS.
How many emergency contacts can I add?
Up to 5 active contacts. Each one installs Abhyra and accepts your invitation before they can be alerted.
What if I have no mobile data?
Abhyra opens an SMS to your emergency contacts with your coordinates and a maps link, ready for you to send.
Will my contacts hear the alert if their phone is on silent?
Yes. The siren rings through silent, vibrate and Do Not Disturb once they've given Abhyra permission to do so.
How long does an emergency last?
One hour. You're asked before it ends whether to continue, once, for up to two hours. If you don't answer, it ends on its own.
Can teenagers use Abhyra?
Yes, with a parent or guardian's consent, which is required for anyone under 18.
Can I trigger it with my voice?
Not yet. A voice trigger using your own safe word is coming soon. For now, you start an emergency with one tap.
